Smith Fire Solutions Ltd was established by Daniel Smith in 2023 with an aim of simplifying the process of compliance with fire safety legislation.
Daniel’s extensive training, experience and knowledge makes him a competent person.
Who we are
Daniel joined the Fire Service in 2009 and has spent his career working in the roles of an Operational Firefighter and Business Fire Safety Officer.
Daniel has held positions within the Business Fire Safety Teams of Cleveland Fire Brigade and Durham & Darlington Fire and Rescue Service.
Whilst studying at the Fire Service College he achieved the following professional qualifications.
Level 4 Diploma in Fire Safety (Fire Inspector).
Level 4 Certificate in Fire Safety (Fire Auditors).
NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management.
Daniel is a member of The Institution of Fire Engineers.
Daniel’s experience includes:
Undertaking Fire Risk Assessments & Fire Safety Audits for Low, Medium and High-risk premises, ranging from simple to complex premises.
Emergency Evacuation Training
Fire Marshall Training
Issuing formal notices such as Enforcement, Prohibition and Alteration Notices on the behalf of Enforcing Authority.
Dealing with Fire Safety Complaints
Undertaking of Post Fire Safety Audits
Managing Unwanted Fire Signals
Undertaking Building Regulation Consultation with Local Building Control and Approved Inspectors
